Inna Yuryev-Golger, MD

Dr. Yuryev-Golger, is a psychiatrist in private practice in Brooklyn, New York. She treats adults for a wide range of psychiatric conditions, specializing in Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, and Schizophrenia. Dr. Golger has extensive training and experience in psychiatry, as well as neurology, which gives her particular insight into diagnosing and treating her patients’ conditions.

Dr. Yuryev-Golger graduated from Kharkov Medical School in Ukraine, where she also completed residency in Neurology. Upon immigrating to the United States, she completed her residency in Psychiatry at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center.

Dr. Golger’s treatment model consists of engaging in an honest dialogue with all her patients, as she finds that a solid doctor-patient rapport that’s built on trust results in more effective treatment. While she believes that medication plays an important role in some treatment plans, it is not Dr. Golger’s go-to solution in every situation; if she deems it necessary, she will prescribe appropriate medication, but prescriptions do not make her practice. Her experience as the Principal Investigator at Integrative Clinical Trials allows some of her patients who may have unsuccessfully tried conventional therapies to try new, novel treatments.

Dr. Yuryev-Golger is fluent in English and Russian.
